A Show About Putting on a Show

As our cast of creatures venture into the world of human media, we’ll witness their hilarious struggles with technology, social media, and the baffling complexities of human culture.

Even the auditions for cast and crew are part of the show, as we scout for talent to build MonsTV into a movement of coexistence.

Flexible Format

Recurring Segments

Mons News
Monsters take on the news with their unique perspective. Broadcasting from a glitchy, cobbled-together newsroom, they tackle human absurdities and monster world updates with a mix of wit and technical hiccups.

Monster Fantasy Theater 1000
Our monstrous peanut gallery riffs on human propaganda films and other media. The result? Side-splitting commentary—and a few unintentional bloopers.

Orc Tank
A panel of orc investors judge tabletop game pitches while hilariously misunderstanding how capitalism even works. The orcs’ confusion about Kickstarter campaigns and “return on investment” leads to moments that blur the lines between fantasy and commerce.

Malastar's (a demon) Self-Help Podcast
Malastar’s video podcast is an ongoing experiment of a reformed demon therapist coaching monsters to process their trauma after being wronged by so-called "heroes."

Monster Karaoke & Commercials
Monsters try their hand at creating viral content, from parody commercials to musical numbers that show off their creative (and occasionally offbeat) talents.

Building the Show with Fan Help

MonsTV invites the audience to be part of the journey. Monsters don’t just want you to watch—they want your help to create the show.

Fans can:

  • Submit Monster Ideas: Help shape new characters and segments.
  • Vote on Cast Auditions: Influence what cast members are added to or cut from the show.
  • Vote on Segments: Influence what segments return in future episodes.

Together, we’ll watch the monsters’ dream of creating a successful variety show come to life—with plenty of laughs (and technical mishaps) along the way.

Unfolding Skits

Emerging Ideas

While recurring segments anchor the show, MonsTV’s open format ensures there’s always room for experimentation. The monsters are learning as they go, creating content that’s unpredictable. Some potential additions include:

  • Behind-the-Scenes Chaos: Watch the crew argue over set design, wrestle with malfunctioning microphones, and accidentally livestream their rehearsal bloopers.
  • Guest Appearances: Famous heroes, celebrities, or other monsters drop by to shake things up.
  • Monster Life Hacks: Quick, comedic tutorials on how monsters adapt human tools to their own needs (with varying degrees of success).

Snackable, Shareable, and Viral-Ready

Every MonsTV segment is crafted for standalone enjoyment, making it ideal for social media platforms like TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram. Whether it’s a behind-the-scenes fail or a polished skit, these bite-sized moments are perfect for sharing and for drawing in new fans.
